Contact

For support, bug reports, or privacy questions, email zeroordinal@gmail.com.

Please include the PixelSpy version and build number, your macOS version, your Mac model if relevant, and a short description of the issue.

Only include screenshots or screen recordings if they do not contain private or sensitive information.

Common Questions

Screen Recording permission

PixelSpy needs macOS Screen Recording permission to read the color of the screen pixel you choose. PixelSpy does not record video, record audio, or upload screen content.

If color picking does not work after granting permission, quit PixelSpy and reopen it so macOS applies the permission change.

Local data

PixelSpy stores color history, projects, notes, tags, favorites, and export data locally on your Mac. PixelSpy does not provide cloud sync and does not require an account.

Crash reports

PixelSpy uses Firebase Crashlytics to help identify crashes and improve reliability. Crash reports are used only for stability and are not used for advertising or tracking.

Import and export

PixelSpy can export local archives for backup or migration. Exported files may contain the colors, project names, tags, roles, favorites, and notes you choose to export.

System requirements

PixelSpy requires macOS 13 or later.

Refunds and purchases

PixelSpy is sold through the Apple App Store. Apple handles purchases, refunds, taxes, and payment information. For refund requests, use Apple's App Store purchase support.
